As we continue to expand our national footprint, we are seeking an experienced and driven Regional General Manager to lead wholesale and retail performance across our dealer network. This is a high‑impact leadership role that shapes sales outcomes, dealer capability, and customer experience across the region.
About the Role
As the Regional General Manager, you will lead and motivate a high‑performing team to deliver wholesale, retail, accessory, and parts sales targets. You will work closely with metro and rural dealers to strengthen performance, ensure brand standards, and support the execution of national sales, service, and marketing strategies.
This role is ideal for a seasoned automotive sales leader who thrives on dealer engagement, operational excellence, and driving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide Western Region teams to achieve regional wholesale and retail sales targets
- Maintain zero aged stock (180+ days)
- Achieve regional accessory and parts sales targets
- Support the GM, Network Development in executing network strategy, facility standards, and dealer performance initiatives
- Ensure DAA activities align with Head Office marketing direction and local PMA marketing
- Oversee regional vehicle distribution, including dealer forward ordering (VFOS), production planning, and logistics
- Provide regional oversight of sales training and development for Kia Australia and dealer staff
- Motivate and manage the Kia dealer network to achieve sales, CX, and profitability objectives
- Analyse and report on market trends, competitor activity, and regional performance
- Support fleet sales across Corporate, Government, and Rental channels
- Ensure WHS compliance for all WR staff
- Partner with GM, Service and DPSMs to support implementation of national service strategies
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience within the automotive industry (wholesale or retail)
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline (advantageous)
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office; SAP experience highly regarded
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with dealers and external partners
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required
