Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Jr. Executive of Logistics at KIA MALAYSIA SDN BHD, located in Assembly Plant, Gurun, Kedah. The hired candidate will play a key role in supporting the Production Planning and Logistics team by coordinating the logistics issues and documentation needs.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive - someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with multiple cross-functional touchpoints. 

Job Description

• To monitor all inventory at external warehouse for CKD Production (via system and
manual)
• Collecting, organizing and responsible on all information/data related to the endorsement
(via Genpacx, VDO and KGlims).
• Responsible as window between Operations and Finance Dept related to the SAGE
systems (via PR, PO, etc)
• Closely monitor BOM updates for Operations and act as windows with Finance Dept.
• To follow up and ensure payment from Finance and Charges back (Inokom, Modular, etc)
is on time for Operation teams.
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly logistic report for the management review.
• To support and undertake any other jobs and responsibilities not specified above and
assigned by superior.
• Local vendor delivery and improvement
        i. Validate all delivery trolley and monitor improvement required.
        ii. Ensuring vendor to report on stock status at their side and effective communication.
        iii. Monitoring vendors stock status for monthly production.
• CKD Parts scrap documentation
        i. Customs documentation compilation.
        ii. Compiling and appoint scrap vendors.

Requirements

• At least a Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Fresh grads preferred.
• Good understanding of logistic, administration and supply chain.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Malay
• Good accuracy with numbers and tedious documentation filling.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and have positive working attitude.
• Good Communication skills, self-confidence, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong demonstrated use of excel, word and PowerPoint.
• Willing to learn, fast learners and strong initiative.
